Our program is based on the early learning framework of ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’ and ‘Our Time Our Place’ for OSHC.
Belonging is the basis for living a fulfilling life. Children feel they belong because of the relationships they have with their family, community and culture.
Being is about living in the here and now. Childhood is a special time in life and children need time to just ‘be’—allowing them time to play, try new things and have fun.
Becoming is about the learning and development young children experience. Children start to form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes the type of adult they will become.
The Framework for School Age Care builds on the Early Years Learning Framework and extends the principles, practices and outcomes to accommodate the contexts and age range of the children who attend school age care settings.
