We are looking for an Early childhood Teacher - Childcare

Job Summary

Rainbow corner child care has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our centre in the Kindy room. We are seeking a high performing employee with the drive to develop amazing relationships with families, whilst building an outstanding learning environment for children .We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, creative, and professional Early Childhood Teacher to join our family owned and run service. If successful, you will be responsible for observing and evaluating the children's development, and ensuring that appropriate programs are implemented throughout the centre in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.

The successful candidate will also:

- Have ECT (ACECQA approved) Teaching Qualification in Early Education and Care

- Have a current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)

- Have First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates - A passion and enthusiasm for learning

- A desire to create warm and inviting learning spaces for children

- Be able to mentor, lead and enhance a great team environment.

- Possess excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of current regulations and Early Years Learning Framework

Qualifications and Skills

  • Holds an Approved Early Childhood Teaching Degree and teacher registration - OR -

  • Holds a Primary Teaching Qualification and teacher registration and enrolled in Diploma in Children's Services - OR -

  • Studying Approved Early Childhood Teaching Degree and has completed 50% of the course and holds a Diploma in Children's Services - AND -

  • Current First aid - AND -

  • Current Blue Card - AND -

  • Experience working with children aged 0-5yrs
